Wright Marketing Media was founded by Jo Wright in 2014.
The initial impetus was to introduce small businesses to the virtual world with simple websites easily managed by the owners themselves, regardless of their experience, interest and/or technical ability.
It was becoming increasingly apparent to Jo, that a gulf was emerging whereby businesses were struggling to adapt to the rapidly changing marketing environment. Frequently the same concerns were being relayed to her. Established local businesses hadn’t an effective online presence, and in some cases no presence at all. Facebook pages were becoming the main source of promotion and communication for some but not necessarily offering any value.
As a trained marketing professional (educated to Masters degree level and also a CIM Chartered Marketer), the time felt right to look at this increasing gap in online presence to ensure that business owners felt confident to be included in the digital world. Jo took the step from focusing solely on general marketing consultancy to specialise in bridging this widening gap with clients.
